CapSage Website Terms & Conditions
1. About these Terms
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of capsage.co.uk and the services made available through the CapSage website. They apply both to businesses seeking funding through CapSage and to businesses applying to become a CapSage Funding Provider.
Please read them before submitting a funding assessment or a Funding Provider application.
CapSage is operated by Daddy Marketing Resources Limited, a company registered in Malta with company number C81348.
Our registered office and principal business address is:

You can contact us at:

By using CapSage and submitting a funding assessment or a Funding Provider application, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree to them, you should not submit a funding assessment or a Funding Provider application.
2. What CapSage does
CapSage provides an online business funding assessment and introduction service for UK limited companies.
Based on information you provide, CapSage uses predefined rules to:
- assess your stated business funding requirement;
- recommend a potentially suitable category of business finance;
- determine whether your enquiry meets CapSage's qualification criteria;
- check for duplicate enquiries;
- identify an independent Funding Provider whose stated criteria may match your requirements; and
- where appropriate, introduce your business to that Funding Provider.
The funding categories currently considered by CapSage include:
- Business Loans;
- Asset Finance; and
- Invoice Finance.
CapSage may add, remove or change the categories of finance supported by the service from time to time.
3. CapSage is not a lender
CapSage does not provide loans or other finance.
We do not make lending decisions, approve finance applications or determine the terms on which finance may be offered.
Where CapSage identifies a potentially appropriate Funding Provider, that Funding Provider is an independent third party.
Funding Providers may include:
- direct lenders; and
- finance brokers or intermediaries.
Funding Providers are not agents or representatives of CapSage.
Any Funding Provider to whom you are introduced is responsible for carrying out its own assessment and deciding whether it wishes to offer, arrange or assist you in obtaining finance.
Any finance ultimately offered to you will be subject to the Funding Provider's own eligibility criteria, assessment, due diligence and terms.
4. CapSage does not guarantee finance
Completing a CapSage assessment does not guarantee:
- that your enquiry will qualify;
- that a suitable Funding Provider will be available;
- that you will be introduced to a Funding Provider;
- that a Funding Provider will contact you;
- that you will receive an offer of finance;
- that any particular amount of finance will be available; or
- that any finance offered will be on terms acceptable to you.
A CapSage funding recommendation is an indication of a potentially suitable category of finance based on the information supplied to us.
It is not a loan offer, credit decision, financial guarantee or commitment by CapSage or any Funding Provider.
5. Who may use CapSage
CapSage is intended for UK limited companies seeking business funding.
When submitting an assessment, you confirm that:
- you are acting on behalf of a UK limited company with a genuine business funding requirement;
- you are an owner, director or otherwise authorised to submit the enquiry on behalf of the company;
- the information you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge; and
- you are not using the service for fraudulent, unlawful or misleading purposes.
6. Information you provide
CapSage's assessment, recommendation and matching process depends on the information you provide.
You are responsible for taking reasonable care to ensure that information submitted through CapSage is accurate, current and complete.
This includes information about:
- your identity and contact details;
- your business;
- turnover;
- trading history;
- funding requirement;
- intended use of funds;
- funding timescale; and
- any other information requested during the assessment.
You must not knowingly provide false, misleading or unauthorised information.
If information supplied to CapSage is inaccurate or incomplete, the recommendation or Funding Provider match may also be inaccurate or inappropriate.
7. Verification
CapSage may require you to verify contact information provided during an assessment.
This currently includes verification of:
- your email address; and
- your mobile telephone number.
Verification confirms that the relevant email address or mobile number was accessible during submission.
It does not mean that CapSage has independently verified:
- your identity through formal KYC procedures;
- the legal status of your business;
- your turnover;
- your financial position;
- your creditworthiness;
- the accuracy of every statement made during the assessment; or
- your eligibility for finance.
Funding Providers may carry out their own identity, business, financial, credit, anti-fraud, anti-money laundering or other checks before considering an application.
8. Recommendations and matching
CapSage uses predefined, deterministic rules rather than artificial intelligence or machine learning to generate funding recommendations and Funding Provider matches.
The recommendation is based on the information supplied during the assessment and the rules in operation at the time.
Funding Provider matching may take account of factors including:
- funding category;
- amount required;
- business sector;
- geographic location;
- legal structure;
- trading history;
- Funding Provider appetite;
- Funding Provider availability;
- capacity limits; and
- other relevant eligibility criteria.
CapSage may determine that no Funding Provider currently meets the criteria for an enquiry.
A recommendation or match should not be treated as professional financial advice or as a statement that a particular product or Funding Provider is necessarily the best option available to your business.
9. Introductions to Funding Providers
Where an enquiry qualifies and CapSage identifies a Funding Provider whose criteria are a suitable match for the information you have supplied, CapSage may facilitate an introduction between you and that Funding Provider.
Depending on the arrangements in place with that Funding Provider, the introduction may involve:
- CapSage sharing your funding enquiry and relevant information with the Funding Provider so that it can contact you; or
- CapSage providing you with the Funding Provider's details and a route through which you can continue your funding enquiry directly with that Funding Provider.
Under CapSage's current model, an enquiry is introduced to one Funding Provider at a time. If an introduction does not result in funding being provided, CapSage may, where appropriate, consider whether another Funding Provider within its network is a suitable match and make a further introduction.
Where the introduction involves CapSage sharing your enquiry with the Funding Provider, the Funding Provider may then contact you directly.
Once an introduction has been made, your subsequent discussions and dealings with the Funding Provider are between you and that independent Funding Provider.
The Funding Provider is responsible for explaining:
- the products or services it offers;
- any eligibility requirements;
- interest rates;
- fees or charges;
- repayment obligations;
- security requirements;
- guarantees;
- contractual terms; and
- any regulatory protections applicable to its service.
You should review any Funding Provider's documentation carefully before entering into an agreement.
Where appropriate, you should consider obtaining independent professional advice before accepting finance.
10. How CapSage is paid
There is currently no charge to the business seeking funding for using the CapSage assessment and introduction service.
CapSage operates commercially by charging Funding Providers for qualified introductions.
CapSage currently intends to charge Funding Providers on a cost-per-lead (CPL) basis.
This means CapSage may receive payment from a Funding Provider when a qualifying enquiry is introduced to it, regardless of whether that enquiry ultimately results in finance being provided.
You do not pay this fee to CapSage.
11. Funding Provider selection
CapSage selects Funding Providers according to the eligibility and matching criteria configured within the service.
The fact that a Funding Provider is included within CapSage does not constitute a guarantee, endorsement or warranty by CapSage regarding that Funding Provider or any product it offers.
CapSage may add, remove, activate, pause or change the eligibility criteria of Funding Providers participating in the service.
The Funding Providers available through CapSage may therefore change over time.
12. Your relationship with a Funding Provider
CapSage is not a party to any finance agreement you subsequently enter into with a Funding Provider.
Any agreement for finance, brokerage or related services is made separately between you and the relevant Funding Provider.
Before entering into such an agreement, you are responsible for considering whether:
- the finance meets your business's needs;
- you understand the cost and repayment obligations;
- you understand any security or personal guarantee requirements;
- the information supplied by the Funding Provider is satisfactory; and
- you wish to proceed.
Nothing in these Terms alters the legal or regulatory responsibilities that a Funding Provider may owe you.
13. Applying to become a CapSage Funding Provider
A business may apply to become a CapSage Funding Provider by submitting a Funding Provider application through the CapSage website.
When submitting a Funding Provider application, you confirm that:
- you are authorised to apply on behalf of the business named in the application; and
- the information provided in the application is, to the best of your knowledge, accurate, complete and not misleading.
Submitting an application does not guarantee approval. CapSage may review the information provided, ask for further information or clarification, and approve or decline an application at its discretion.
Approval of an application does not by itself establish a Funding Provider commercial relationship with CapSage, activate a Funding Provider profile or create any entitlement to receive leads or introductions.
If an application is approved, separate CapSage Funding Provider Commercial Terms must be agreed and signed before the Funding Provider profile can be activated and introductions can begin. Those Commercial Terms will set out the provider specific commercial arrangements, including the agreed cost per lead and how leads will be delivered.
Accepting these Terms does not constitute agreement to any cost per lead, payment obligation, lead delivery arrangement or other provider specific commercial terms.
14. Availability of the CapSage service
We aim to keep CapSage available and operating reliably, but we do not guarantee that the website or assessment service will always be:
- available;
- uninterrupted;
- error-free; or
- compatible with every device or browser.
We may temporarily suspend or restrict access where reasonably necessary for:
- maintenance;
- security;
- technical problems;
- infrastructure changes; or
- circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Where reasonably practicable, we will seek to minimise disruption.
15. Misuse of CapSage
You must not:
- submit deliberately false or misleading enquiries;
- impersonate another person;
- provide contact information you are not authorised to use;
- attempt to circumvent verification or duplicate-detection controls;
- interfere with the operation or security of the service;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to CapSage systems or data;
- introduce malware or malicious code;
- use automated systems to submit large volumes of enquiries without our permission; or
- use CapSage for unlawful purposes.
We may reject, suspend or prevent the processing of an enquiry where we reasonably believe the service is being misused.
16. Intellectual property
The CapSage website, branding, assessment structure, software, written content and other materials made available through the service are owned by or licensed to Daddy Marketing Resources Limited, except where otherwise stated.
You may use the CapSage website and assessment service for their intended purpose.
You must not, without our permission:
- reproduce substantial parts of the service;
- copy or commercially exploit CapSage content;
- reverse engineer or attempt to extract proprietary elements of the service except where the law expressly permits this; or
- use CapSage branding in a way that suggests an association, endorsement or partnership that does not exist.
17. Third-party websites and services
CapSage may contain links to or interact with third-party websites or services.
We do not control third-party websites and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices.
Where you leave CapSage or deal directly with a Funding Provider or another third party, you should review that organisation's own terms and privacy information.
18. Our responsibility to you
CapSage is responsible for providing its assessment and introduction service with reasonable care and skill to the extent required by applicable law.
However, because CapSage does not provide finance and does not control independent Funding Providers, we are not responsible for decisions made independently by a Funding Provider, including whether it:
- contacts you;
- requests further information;
- approves or rejects an application;
- offers finance;
- withdraws an offer; or
- determines the price, terms or conditions of finance.
CapSage is also not responsible for losses arising solely from inaccurate, incomplete or misleading information supplied to us by you or by an independent third party.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or death or personal injury caused by negligence where applicable.
19. Privacy and personal information
Our collection and use of personal information is explained in the CapSage Privacy Policy.
Our use of cookies and similar technologies is explained in the CapSage Cookie Policy.
These documents should be read alongside these Terms where relevant.
20. Changes to CapSage
We may change or develop the CapSage service over time.
This may include changing:
- assessment questions;
- qualification criteria;
- funding categories;
- matching criteria;
- Funding Providers;
- website functionality; or
- other aspects of the service.
Changes will apply prospectively.
Where a change materially affects the terms on which users access CapSage, we will update these Terms as appropriate.
21. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to CapSage, applicable law, regulatory requirements or our business.
The latest version will be published on capsage.co.uk with its effective date.
The Terms applicable to an assessment will normally be those in effect when that assessment is submitted.
22. If part of these Terms is invalid
If a court or competent authority determines that any provision of these Terms is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
23. No waiver
If we do not immediately enforce a right available to us under these Terms, that does not necessarily mean we have waived that right.
24. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms and your use of CapSage are governed by the laws of Malta.
The courts of Malta will have jurisdiction in relation to any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of CapSage.
25. Complaints
If you are unhappy with the CapSage service, please contact us first at:
support@capsage.co.uk
We will aim to investigate the issue and respond appropriately.
Complaints concerning a Funding Provider's own products, lending decisions, brokerage services or conduct should normally be directed to that Funding Provider.
